Anushka Shrestha
A Commerce valedictorian from the Australian Catholic University, Anushka interned at the Vatican, worked in finance in Australia, won Miss Nepal 2019, reached the Top 12 at Miss World, and built Makkusé into one of South Asia's most celebrated women-led brands. In 2026, she was elected to Nepal’s House of Representatives, where she continues to champion opportunities for women, youth, and indigenous communities.

Anushka was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. After completing her S.L.C at Triyog High School, she pursued her higher secondary education at Ace Higher Secondary School. An all-rounder throughout – she held leadership roles in school and also participated in extracurriculars such debates, oratory competitions, and theater productions.
