Improving Government Website
During a Zero Hour address in the House of Representatives, attention was drawn to the opportunity to promote Nepal's identity through Made in Nepal products at Tribhuvan International Airport. As the country's main international gateway, the airport serves thousands of travellers each day and presents a unique platform to showcase Nepal's local products, handicrafts, and cultural heritage. The address highlighted the opportunity to transform the airport into a platform for promoting Nepal's identity by providing travellers with access to authentic Nepali products, handicrafts, and local flavours before they depart. Such an initiative would not only strengthen the country's image but also create greater market opportunities for domestic producers and entrepreneurs. The proposal called on the Government of Nepal and the management of Tribhuvan International Airport to ensure dedicated spaces for Made in Nepal products in airport retail outlets and tender processes. It also emphasised the importance of prioritising small businesses and local entrepreneurs, turning "Made in Nepal, Made for the World" from a vision into a practical reality.
