Ministry of Education,
Every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of where they are born or the circumstances they grow up in. My experience through the Souls of Solsing project has shown me that meaningful change comes through sustained investment in education and communities, not isolated interventions. While initiatives such as Teach for Nepal have demonstrated the impact of innovative education models, Nepal now needs a structured, government-led approach that ensures equitable investment in education for historically marginalised and underserved communities. I call for stronger public education programmes that improve learning opportunities, support teachers, and provide every child with the opportunity to reach their full potential. Building an inclusive education system is not only about improving schools, but it is also about creating equal opportunities and breaking cycles of inequality for future generations.
Key Recommendations:
- Develop structured government programmes to improve educational outcomes in historically marginalised and underserved communities.
- Ensure equitable investment in public education across all regions of Nepal.
- Strengthen public schools through better teacher support, training, and learning resources.
- Build on successful community-led education models to inform long-term national education policy.
- Ensure every child has access to quality education, regardless of geography or socio-economic background.
